HERIZ CARPET
Model 05609 – Heriz 19th Century Collection, hand woven from 100% Wool and measuring 2.40 × 2.95 m, is a striking example of traditional Heriz artistry with a rich and expressive character. The rug is centered around a bold, multi-layered medallion that radiates outward in a complex geometric arrangement. This central structure is surrounded by a dense field of stylized tribal and botanical motifs, giving the piece a dynamic yet well-balanced composition. The angular lines and layered forms reflect the strong architectural quality that defines classic Heriz weaving. Its color palette is deep and mature, dominated by warm reds and burgundy tones, contrasted with navy, ivory, soft blue, and muted gold accents. These tones lend the rug a sense of depth and an appealing, time-softened character. The border is richly detailed and darker in tone, creating a strong frame around the central field. Filled with repeating geometric and symbolic elements, it enhances the contrast and anchors the overall design.
