Model 05643 – Soumak 19th Century Collection, crafted from 100% Wool and measuring 1.85 × 1.20 m, is a highly distinctive Hand Woven flatweave known for its narrative and symbolic richness. The field is densely filled with rows of stylized animal figures, prominently featuring large bird-like forms arranged in horizontal bands. Between them, smaller animals and geometric fillers create a lively and animated composition, giving the rug a storytelling quality typical of Soumak weavings. The deep blue ground provides a strong backdrop for the vibrant palette of ivory, red, yellow, and soft pastel tones, allowing each figure to stand out clearly. The repetition of forms is balanced yet varied in color, adding rhythm without monotony. The borders are composed of multiple bands with angular, interlocking motifs and protective symbols, framing the central field with structure and reinforcing the tribal character of the piece.

- Avoid brushing or scrubbing the rug.
- Vacuum gently on a regular basis. Do not use a beater brush or rotating brush setting.
- In case of spills, blot immediately with a clean cloth. Do not rub the area.
- Rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear over time.
- Place protective pads under heavy furniture legs to prevent flattening and fiber damage.
- If a loose thread appears, do not pull it. Carefully trim it with scissors instead.
- Professional cleaning at regular intervals is recommended.
